As a fan of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I was pretty happy to be able to be involved with a story based on that theme.
I smirked whenever I spotted the name of familiar characters and weapons scattered throughout the story.
The Romance of the Three Kingdoms is also full of heroism and valor, so when you combine it with a mafia theme, the script is a lot of fun to read.

Please tell us about the character you played, along with your first impression of them, any similarities between you, their best qualities, and things you kept in mind while acting.

I was particularly conscious of the fact that Gante Lowd is a character that heavily reminds me of Guan Yu from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms due to his righteous personality.
He lives his life with a strong sense of connection to his mafia family, so I made sure to emphasize the importance of his loyalty to the boss.
Also, I tried to make sure what he went through in the past had an impact on his way of speaking in the present.

Could you tell us about any scenes in particular which left a lasting impression on you?

There was a particularly dramatic scene that linked the concept of Nullification with Gante Lowd’s wish. And while there are plenty of scenes to make you sweat with anxiety, I also appreciated the slice of life conversational scenes that help to get you know the relationships within the families better.

Whether or not you’re familiar with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I think you’ll find this story pretty enjoyable - though being familiar with it certainly adds an extra layer.
The passionate bonds between the characters transcend that of a mafia family. As a member of the Liu family, I really hope you guys will enjoy it. Thanks for your support.
